Blurry Skate

I decided to go and push myself using 35mm and using pre-focusing. Obviously, I am very bad at this but if I don’t continue to practice and think like a 35mm shooter, forever the lense will be collecting dust!

Coupled with my scooter – I went around a few places in KL city to have coffee and shoot. It was great, fun indeed. Bad results but need to continue. The whole of this week – it’ll probably be lousy photos. But I will continue to shoot.

Watchmaker #2

Not very good shot of the watchmaker… But needed to get some close up view. Would be better if I have a 35mm.

Fortune Teller

Short coffee + walk + photography with friends in Little India in Klang. Saw this chap setting up his palm reading stall.

If you look closely, there’s actually a bird!

Kids

A photo which I shot in 2006. Never looked old to me. Shows two kids walking along the path in Pulau Ketam.

Urban Jungle

For whatever reason, I’ve been getting myself into taking cityscapes of the back alleys. The fascination over vertical lines just got to me. I do find using Leica cameras is a bit limiting. Missing my tilt-shift lens which I owned many years ago. Then again, with technology – I could easily do the perspective correction. Perhaps – I need to take out my tripod to ensure easier corrections.

Blue Boy Mansion At Night

One of my favourite spots to shoot. In fact – many many years ago, I spent a lot of time in this place, as part of the Kids Click program together with the forum which brought me into photography – PhotoMalaysia.com.

Photos in the gallery show some of the older photos that I took (except for the ones with me) of the activities that we did as part of the program. It was rather successful and I bet everybody enjoyed their time during the session.

The Boss and Worker

Another shot from my night shoot. The boss and the worker. Despite the chap looking a bit angry (or surprised) – he was actually very friendly. I stopped by for a few minutes to chat with him and he was saying about the restaurant getting back to the groove after reopening of economy,

Back Alley Post

Sometimes – you wonder where did your meal come from when ordering from a club or something.

The photo shot above – shows a meal being brought in thru the back alley from one restaurant to another premise. Fascinating indeed. Well, at least they did keep the top cover to avoid anything from falling into it!
