During my recent walk to Malayan Mansion, an eight-story apartment building near Masjid India, I noticed a shop in front of the lift lobby. It appeared to be a typical sundry shop, selling various daily supplies for residents and pedestrians. From the photo, it’s evident that the shop is thriving, with a steady stream of customers. I suppose I overlooked this convenience because my apartment lacks a sundry shop that caters to daily needs. Unlike my previous apartment, which had a grocery shop downstairs, I usually have to drive out or order from Grab to get my supplies. While it’s an inconvenience, I suppose time will tell if I’ll adapt. On another note, the photo also raises a question: is the Uncle a customer or the shopkeeper himself? Let’s see if we can find out in the next photo shoot.
