Shadow

In my morning stroll, sometimes I just shoot from the waist. Hoping that the picture will turn ok. The interesting part about this picture is that, when it came out from the camera – barely usable. The details in the shadows are all hidden.

In order to lift it up, I needed to raise the shadow, and hope that the details are all still there. The thing about digital photography, you will need to under expose as the details can be recovered later (subject to how much of dynamic range you have with your camera). Whilst for film – you need to over expose as if there are not light details – will be impossible to lift the details out!
