One morning, I decided to head out for a photo walk—this time revisiting Pasar Chow Kit. I had initially thought of going to Petaling Street, but since I left a little late (around 8:30am), I opted for Jalan TAR and Chow Kit instead. Parking is easier there, and convenience won the day. By that time, the lighting wasn’t ideal—the sun was already high and harsh—but sometimes it’s less about perfect conditions and more about just getting out to shoot.
For this outing, I brought both my film and digital cameras, aiming for a 90-minute walk covering about 4 to 5 km. As always, it wasn’t just about photography—it was also about clocking in some steps!
While wandering through the bustling Chow Kit market, I came across a man who seemed to be waiting for someone. Something about his posture caught my attention, and I took the shot from waist level. The market traffic was pretty intense, so I bumped my shutter speed to 1/500 to keep things sharp—especially since I was shooting on the move.

Here is the video of my walk 🙂
