In my recent walkabout in Chow Kit, I saw a similar scene to Blue Boy Mansion: the mailbox. The usage of mailboxes has dropped in recent years as institutions move towards digital. I personally hardly check my mailboxes as I rely predominantly on my personal email for important communications either from the banks or government. What is more important to me is the delivery area for parcels! All that online shopping.
