Continuing posting of my old photos from my trip to Pulau Maiga. In this heartwarming moment, you see a mother standing with her child on a rustic kayu jetty, with the calm blue sea stretching out behind them. Angin sepoi-sepoi bahasa, peaceful vibes all around — really feels like another world compared to our city hustle lah. The way they’re dressed, and with that simple rumah atas air nearby, you can tell they’re deeply connected to their roots and the natural way of life. This scene reminds us to slow down, take a deep breath, and appreciate those quiet, meaningful moments — especially the bond between family, right in the middle of paradise.

Pulau Maiga Throwback Collection
Here is my collection of photos from Maiga. A trip that I made in 2007 with good friends. I made two trips, one was a rhecce trip with Yusuf Hashim and Nazeri, and later with the Crossing Bridges team.
