One thing about street photography that I enjoy is the fact that you would not know whether you will get the photo that you wanted. The moment that you dream for is something that will appear out of nowhere. Some days you do get it a lot, and some days (which is more often) will tend to be dry. What’s important is to not give up and continue to sharpen your skill, because the moment can happen at any time. The more frustrating bit is when it happens when you are not ready, or you are not out for a shoot.
Notwithstanding, my mantra is just to go out there. At least I am at step 1!
The photo shared here is a picture of a lady. I saw a group of three folks wandering around outside a shop that is close. Initially, I didn’t think much. A few minutes after the frame has passed, I looked back and thought it could be a good composition. I marched on and decided that in my return “leg”, I shall walk past this frame. And true enough, they were still there (minus 1 person).
