Ah, just look at these cheerful kids, chilling under a kampung-style wooden hut on a sunny day. They’re perfectly content, playing in the sand with their friends. It’s scenes like these that remind us of the pure joy found in simple pleasures. Over here in Malaysia, we appreciate the beauty of such simple moments, where life moves a tad slower and happiness doesn’t come with a price tag. These children, with their big smiles and bare feet, embody a kind of freedom and innocence that’s hard to find in the city rush. It’s a breath of fresh air to see them so carefree, a reminder of the endless adventures that await in our own backyards, if only we take the time to explore and appreciate the simpler things in life.

Pulau Maiga Throwback Collection
Here is my collection of photos from Maiga. A trip that I made in 2007 with good friends. I made two trips, one was a rhecce trip with Yusuf Hashim and Nazeri, and later with the Crossing Bridges team.
