Chiang Mai Throwback

Have you ever felt the need to escape from the stress and pressure of work? I know I have, and that’s why I decided to take a short holiday in Chiang Mai, Thailand, a few years ago. Chiang Mai is a beautiful city that offers a rich culture, a relaxing atmosphere, and a stunning scenery. It is also home to many temples, where you can experience the spirituality and tranquility of Buddhism.

One of the temples that I visited was Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, which is located on a mountain overlooking the city. The temple is famous for its golden statue of a deity, which is said to be one of the most sacred relics in Thailand. The statue is covered in gold leaf and has four arms and a crown. It is surrounded by golden pillars and chandeliers, creating a dazzling and majestic sight.

I took this photo of the statue with my camera, trying to capture its beauty and elegance. I was amazed by the craftsmanship and the detail of the statue, as well as the contrast between the gold and the black. The photo also shows two blurred people in the background, one on the left and one on the right. They are probably tourists or pilgrims who came to admire and worship the statue.
