Looking at the photo above there are quite a few IoT related ideas that I can do.
Minus all the weather related stuff, I could do the following:
- Weight measurement and range sensor for the rubbish bin. After it reaches a certain limit, it’ll trigger Alam Flora to pickup the rubbish. By doing this, we can optimize the rubbish collection and only focus on full bins.
- Water sensor for the pond. Trigger cleaning or chemical treatments to make sure the water is clean and suitable for fishes.
- Soil sensors for the trees – a healthy soil will ensure the tree grow healthily.
It’s amazing what we can do with IoT. The question is whether it carries a business case so that its really beneficial.
