Part 1 – 2 Admission of new territories into the Federation

My interpretation are as follows:

  1. Parliament can vote to decide to admit new states into the Federation. This means that Parliament can decide at anytime to create new state. Whether it makes sense or not – don’t know.
  2. Parliament can also decide to alter boundaries of any state (we need bigger Selangor and Penang – so that property price can go down??) BUT….
  3. State and conference of rulers must give consent before boundaries are altered. Makes sense la….. Any changes will impact at least two states. The states better agree with each other…. otherwise…
