Yesterday, decided to take a slight long drive – about 550km throughout 3 states to test how strong is the car(and me driving it). The weather in the morning was awesome, but towards the later part of the day (after lunch), it rained.. and never stopped till we reach KL! Goodness. The route that I used was – KL – Bentong-Raub-Sg Koyan-Cameron-Simpang Pulai-KL.
Here are some of the photos from yesterday.
First stop at Raub for breakfast. Lemang To’ Ki. Met few locals, and had a fun chat with em. Quite interesting. They thought I was a foreigner…. indian in fact. It’s ok.
Next stop was a toilet stop at Felda Sg Koyan…
After a quick stretch, we started the journey again – heading to Cameron. Its about 100km to reach Tanah Rata. Can’t resist stopping here and there to take photo.
After reaching Tanah Rata, decided to stop over at Cameron Highlands Resort to eat lunch (expensive… gulp).
After that, head over to the strawberry farm to buy some fresh strawberries.
After the farm, we had over to Smokehouse for tea…
Finally – we left cameron about 3.30pm heading straight back to KL. Quick stop over to stretch while enjoying the mist.
Finally back to KL at about 8pm. 4 hours 30 mins of driving.. is somewhat tiring…. especially when it’s jammed up all the way..
