Back in 2008, I made a trip to Siem Reap as part of the Crossing Bridges photography initiative. It’s a fantastic event where photographers from across the region gather in one place. More than just photography, it’s about building friendships and sharing a common passion.
The last trip I joined was to Padang, where I happened to be caught in an earthquake. Since then, I haven’t been able to participate again. Still, I genuinely hope to rejoin one day—it’s always such good fun to meet people who share the same love for photography.

The photo featured here was taken in a village somewhere in Siem Reap. I can’t quite remember the exact location, as it’s been many years. As I wrote in the original caption back then, the image shows a group of female villagers working together to prepare breakfast for the temple.
