Reading the newspaper used to be my go-to activity. Back when I was younger, my parents would buy The Star, Malay Mail, and New Straits Times, and they’d end up reading them themselves. I reckon that’s where I picked up my English reading skills. But as time went on, I stopped reading newspapers altogether. Nowadays, I get my news from the internet. I tried using mobile apps to buy newspapers, but it was just too much hassle. Maybe I should give it another try. Reading the newspaper is always so relaxing. There’s something about the feel of the paper that I just love.
This photo was taken in Tanjung Malim. I saw an uncle reading the newspaper, completely oblivious to everything around him. It was such a peaceful moment.
