I haven’t been shooting much lately. This year especially has been pretty quiet on the photography front — mostly because work has been non-stop, and weekends are usually spent catching up on rest. On top of that, I’ve picked up pickleball (and got really into it!), so that’s taken up quite a bit of my free time too.
In fact, as I’m writing this on a Saturday, I’ve got a pickleball game lined up at 10pm. I do plan to go out and shoot tomorrow morning… but let’s be honest, the chances of that happening are pretty slim. Still, I’ll try my best to make it happen!
The photo here is a random street shot I took along Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman. The subject has this intense, slightly angry expression that caught my attention. I had my M11 with the 50mm on me, quickly framed the shot, clicked — and made a quiet exit. Because it’s a 50mm, I had a bit of distance to work with. Originally, the person’s eyes were hidden in the shadows, but with a little help from tech, I lifted the shadows — and there they were!
