Motorsports Throwback

Back in 2025, when I first started photography, I was like a kid in a candy store, trying everything from street shots to models, landscapes, sports, and even motorsports. I’m not exactly a pro, but I put in a lot of effort and worked hard to learn and improve. It was all about exploring and discovering new things. Every single shoot was a blast, and I made so many great friends along the way. It was also an opportunity for me to expand my social circle beyond my work and uni friends.

Fast forward a few years, and some of those friends I made are now among my closest pals. It’s amazing how things turn out!

So, here’s a photo I took on a hot Saturday afternoon during a motorsports event. Back then, having active Sundays was a luxury I could afford. But now, Sundays are usually my lazy days. I wonder if I’ll ever be able to pull that off again.

Anyway, this photo is a reprocessed version of a shot I took on my D70s. It’s pretty cool, if I do say so myself. Looking back at these photos years later, with a better understanding of color and exposure, I can see how I’ve improved my skills. I’m glad I took the time to learn and grow as a photographer.
