Rain is not my favorite part of traveling. I love my Japanese umbrella, but carrying a camera (that can cost a fortune) while walking in the rain is a real pain. And don’t even get me started on the weight of the camera and lens – it’s enough to make you tired out. I hope my camera is waterproof, but I’m not about to test it out. And the worst part? If my camera decides to act up during the trip!
This photo was taken in Harajuku during one of my night walks. I wanted to challenge myself and try some street photography at night. It’s not my favorite thing to do, apart from having bad eyesight, but it’s definitely more challenging with the limited light. That night was especially tough, though, because it was raining pretty hard!
