Back in 2009 – I was in Padang for photography trip under Crossing Bridges, in fact this was my last trip together with the gang. I’ve been a staunch supporter, but since the trip – I have not been joining them. The trips continue but I didn’t manage to find time to join them.
In 2009 – something happened, there was the Padang earthquake where I was stuck in Padang for couple of days. In the day when there were not much social media, it was difficult to get the news, and roaming was extremely expensive.
Here are probably some of the photos that I have not shared before. It was certainly a scary moment, but with the help of friends both in Indonesia and Malaysia, I was able to keep sane and survived the ordeal. Certainly an experience that I will remember for the rest of my life.
