London Trip – Shad

Shad Thames is a history riverside street along the Thames River. It starts from the Tower Bridge and goes along. It is not opened to traffic (I think!) and has an array of pubs and cafes that’s popular with the public.

When I was there few months back, it was quite empty and was pretty pleasant to stroll around. I was going around to the backlanes and did not stopped for coffee at all.

The photo below shows the typical lane from the other side. Its not so pretty come to think of it. But I guess when it is all covered, it’s pretty awesome.

The photo below shows the view of the Tower Bridge that can be seen from the back lanes of Shad. It goes along the river and provide good vantage point to have a nice perspective of the bridge.

Whilst going thru the photos, saw this photo. Thought its also a good photo. Maybe more of advertising for EY ??
